Showing our support for our favourite teams, and our community

What a fun filled Friday it was on the 21st August! With all our favourite sporting team colours flying through the air, it was certainly a great way to end the week with Jersey Day... an opportunity for GSCC's students to wear their favourite sporting team jerseys to support the wider community.

From soccer to basketball teams, the members of our GSCC community enjoyed supporting their teams with some friendly rivalry. It was guaranteed to be an amazing day at the College, and it certainly was.

The students at GSCC were given the opportunity to wear their favourite Jerseys to support the charitable works funds through donations given in Pastoral Care.

The annual tradition started several years ago by a group of Year 12’s to bring about a fun-filled way to support the wider community. It has elevated into a fun day for our school, bonding over something many of us all have a passion for...SPORT!!!!

We received some great comments about today and we can’t wait for next year’s Jersey Day! But the big question remains... who will win the State of Origin?
